Robert has an outstanding track record in the global biopharmaceutical sector.
Beginning his career in cancer biology research at the Institute of Molecular Pathology in Vienna, he then transitioned to Amgen, where he held roles of increasing responsibility in market research and strategic planning. At Roche, he supported the launch of a major oncology product as a Business Analysis Manager. From 2009 to 2014, he was the Director of Global Commercial Insights & Analytics at Actelion, leading a department focused on market research, competitive intelligence and strategic planning.
From 2020 to 2023, he was the Senior Director of Business Development for Real-World Data Solutions at PPD, where he excelled in business development and client relationship management.
In 2014, Dr. Siegmund founded Life Code GmbH in Switzerland, offering consultancy and business development services in insights, data science and AI, real-world data, forecasting, and competitive intelligence. He has been instrumental in driving strategic decisions for pharmaceutical companies, particularly in oncology and orphan drugs.
Robert holds an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Zurich, a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Vienna, and an MBA from London Business School.
